Enough with the Scott-coddling. I can’t take it anymore. The whole spectacle is getting worse and worse every week. Did you see his hair? Terrible. As was the performance. I sometimes wonder if the producers tell the judges to be positive about him because he’s good for the ratings or something. Ugh. And while Megan is at least Scott’s opposite regarding style and look, she’s his twin in quality of music. Let’s all now admit that while her voice is unique, it’s bad. Matt. Oh, Matt. How the mighty have fallen. Not a good performance. Anoop was cheesy as always, and this week wasn’t anything special. Allison’s vocals were alright but completely overshadowed by her outfit/hair. Utterly horrible. That hair was really, really bad. Lil Rounds was this high only because everyone else was bad, not because she did anything special. She’s got the talent and personality to do much better than she’s been doing the past few weeks. Adam was good last night, but his screeching was just a little over-the-top. Otherwise a great performance. Danny was fantastic as always. The dude truly feels what he’s singing. And Kris was the breakout last night. He’s really starting to show some serious potential and last night he was really, really good. He’s getting much more comfortable on the stage and he picked a great song. I think the tweeny girls will be overlooking the fact that he’s got a wife.
Scott has been bad, but he wasn’t the worst this week. He should land in the bottom 3, but I hope he doesn’t go home because I can’t get enough of Paula’s unintentional condescension towards him.
Matt’s greatest mistake was admitting that he loved The Fray. I had never heard those words spoken before. The judges were right, he should have sang “Apologize.”
Agree with Kris, Danny, and Adam in the top 3 this week and probably the finale if Lil and Matt don’t improve.

I just don’t like Scott’s voice. I kept thinking David Archuleta would have sounded so good doing “Just The Way You Are” but Scott, no.
Matt always looks like he’s going to cry when he gets a negative comment (or last week when he was in the bottom three). I still think the guy just doesn’t have enough personality.
Allison’s outfit and hair didn’t bother me, I’m a little surprised at how much attention it got. It’s not like she’s Sanjaya, who couldn’t sing. She’s 17, let her dress how she wants.
I think today I’m gonna download Adam’s, Danny’s and Kris’s songs.

I think the judges point was that how she dressed was distracting everyone from her voice/performance. She can be rocker-girl if she wants, but when the outfit gets more attention than the music she’s in dangerous territory.

I am no Scott fan (seems like a nice guy, but…) but he was not the worst last night, and I agree it was the best he has done yet. Megan, Matt, and Anoop all did worse. Lil’s and Anoop’s song choice was very bad.

I guess my point was her outfit didn’t distract me from her singing. I do think the first part of the song was better than the last part, but overall she killed it.

I liked the arrangement of Adam’s song – half time for the verse, regular time for the chorus – unexpected and INTERESTING. Allison choked on the guitar – did anyone notice that? She did say she was nervous about playing.
I think it’s interesting that they keep telling Megan to sing songs by people who have a similar voice, but then if she sings those songs, aren’t they just going to tell her that she was imitating them and not being creative enough?
Scott is boring, but I thought he did well last night.
Anoop needs to learn how to smile. He looks like he’s taking himself WAY too seriously, and while I think he has potential, he is trying too hard to be R&B by singing typical R&B songs and not showing enough creativity.
Matt is no good. Lil is good but has no idea how to be interesting. Danny is good but honestly, I feel like he could do more David Cook-like performances and shock us more. Kris was the best last night, in my opinion. I predict he might be a surprise finalist.

Anoop needs to smile and Megan needs to stop trying to smile. But it really doesn’t matter because the next few weeks are just an easy weeding-out process. This contest is really going to be between Adam, Kris and Danny with maybe Lil and Matt if they step up their game. Ultimately I think it’ll come down to Adam and Danny.

So I don’t know which is worse for Scott, Greatest American Hero hair or Beevis/Butthead hair…
I think Danny might be getting a bit more love than he deserves.
This part of the season is always when things start to drag. I wish they would start cutting 2-3 per week for a while…
