Ginger was a classy broad. And a redhead. Not even close.

It’s the hot girl next door vs. the hot runway model. Mary Ann was cute, a lot of fun and just hotter. Ginger was pretty and glamorous but also less approachable, more high maintenance and kind of a pain. Mary Ann is the real man’s answer. Ginger is the answer for those who like to look but not touch.
MCQ, how could you say she was high maintenance when she managed to look like that on a desert island for years. No salons. No beauty supplies.
Come on, that’s pretty impressive and low maintenance.
My issue is that both are played up because of childhood memories. Go look at pictures of them and neither is really that hot. Attractive, yes. But I can think of dozens of actresses from that era far more attractive.
maryann had the better body. She was more athletic and better proportioned. Ginger could not compare when maryann had those short shorts on with those halter tops. Look close you will see who had the hotter body. Ginger was more slinky and thin but thought her bod was the best. Oh was she wrong…….but she was still sexy. Her tiny “coconuts” were so sexy!
This one’s not even going to be close.

As a little girl I identified with Mary Ann.

Ginger as a teenager, Mary Ann as an adult.

Does a polygamist get to say “both”?
(not that I’m a polygamist, but HBO’s Big Love got me thinking….)

Oh, man. Growing up, I was so in love with Mary Ann and Marsha Brady. Ginger is definitely not my type.

They were both in need of a healthy dose of the feminist movement…

Well, someone sure knows how to spoil the fun!

REDHEADS!!! It’s that simple.
Ginger.

tho…what does it say about me if I am partial to the cougar, Mrs. Howell?
Comment by Hayes — February 17, 2009 @ 9:17 pm
Ew. It says you can’t be trusted near my grandma.
Mrs. Howell was not a cougar, she was a blue- haired fossil.

Well definitely used to be Ginger, but as an adult Mary Ann.

I loved Ginger. She was so glamorous and had great clothes and always got her way. What’s not to like?

Mary Ann has been the trendy choice for a long time, but Ginger is the correct answer.

Clark, you’re crazy. That picture just reinforces (in spades) the fact that they are both hot but Mary Ann is a raging robo-hottie.

BTW, Clark: speaking of pictures, that was a nice one of you in the Trib yesterday. You’re not as hot as Mary Ann or Ginger though.

Ugh, Yeah. I packed on a few pounds since I started making chocolate… I’m no loner in climbing shape, that’s for sure.

Ginger had the better body if you compare them measurement-wise, but she’d drive me crazy because she was so full of herself.
It would have to stop being about looks at some point. I’d rather be with the more realistic and sweet one, so I pick Mary Ann.
