  1. Quick, someone put the Simpsons out of its misery…

  2. There’s a total of 1 show on Fox that has any appeal to me, and it’s Terminator. Not exactly stellar, Fox! I guess I’ll give Dollhouse and Fringe a try.

  3. Fox Fall Schedule - Yawn!

  4. And even Terminator isn’t all that great. I’m a huge fan of the movies, and there are so many problems with the show - mostly due to timeline/story paradoxes. But hey, it’s about the only thing I watch on Fox too.

I’m glad Back to You is out. I tried it. Lame.

  5. I’m not even interested in a series about Cleveland and I live near there. DOH!

  6. Whoo-hoo Terminator is back! I don’t mind the timeline/story paradoxes or the teenage angst.

I watched Back To You, it’s not that good - like a poor man’s Frasier. It won’t be missed.

I might give Dollhouse a chance, but knowing all along that it will be great and then canceled after the first season :)

So wow, I didn’t realize that Fox’s lineup is that bad, Terminator and American Idol are the only shows I watch?

  7. I used to be excited about 24, but it has become quite lame the last few seasons. And I can’t stomach the civil liberties violations (weak stomach, I know).

  8. 24 last season was pretty bad and the season before was only so-so. I hear they are really shaking it up and are doing a 2 hour prequel that takes place and is filmed in Africa. So hopefully this season will be a lot better. The first two seasons were great with a few eye rollers here and there. (Most involving Jack’s daughter)

  9. BTW - Fox’s House is pretty fantastic. But I agree they have a surprisingly weak lineup with way too many shows that have been pushed past their prime.

  10. I gave up on Prison Break a couple of episodes into this last season. Did it get any better?

  11. I’m happy to see that Bones was renewed. It’s become a favorite guilty pleasure of mine.

This season of House has been really excellent.

I’m cautious about Dollhouse because Fox hasn’t been too kind to Joss Whedon’s projects in the past. (Firefly, RIP.) Fringe could be good. It’s worth checking out, anyway.

  12. I’m sad about New Amsterdam, it was fairly enjoyable. Canterbury’s Law and Back to You; well, we watched them, but are probably not going to cry for them.

I may have to give Bones another shot. Otherwise, it’s just House and 24. =)

  13. When you guys say House is good, you mean to laugh at, right?

  14. The problem with Terminator: no T-1000s!

    Comment by David J — May 15, 2008 @ 2:08 pm

  15. I’m with you Susan on House! And it’s usually a forced laugh.

    Comment by Abby — May 15, 2008 @ 2:27 pm

  16. Well it is pretty funny Susan but it’s also a good detective story. (House is basically based on Sherlock Holmes)

  17. this timetable may come in handy.
