I tried to watch. After 20 minutes I couldn’t take it anymore and went and read a textbook – which was much more interesting and exciting.

Still Juno won best screenplay.

I can’t remember how to get into the KB Oscar contest, but in another pool I entered, I was 14 for 24. Not too bad.

I was very impressed that Jon Stewart let Marketa Irglova come back out to say what she wanted to before she was cut off. And then what she said was very cool. You know she was 17 when Once was filmed, which means she’s what? 19 or 20 now?

I haven’t seen any of the movies nominated and really couldn’t care less who won, except for Glen and Marketa.

The Oscar party we attend every year has a contest, that I happened to win with 13 correct picks. My big picks were Bourne for the sound categories and Counterfitters for foreign film(it was the only one I’d heard of).
